Tutorials - Blue Eyes

This tutorial will teach you how to let the people in your pictures have brighter, and darker-blue eyes.

Step 1: Open up any image you want to work on, or save mine. Click here.

Step 2: Select your Polygonal Lasso Tool.

Step 3: Enlarge your image to about 300% by pressing CTRL and +. Use the Lasso Tool and trace the eye. Click here for an example.

Step 4: Press CTRL + C and then CTRL + V. A new layer will appear. From the layer palette, change the blend mode of the new layer to Overlay.

Step 5: Duplicate this layer a few times. You are recommended to do this three times.

Step 6: Do the same to the other eye in the image. You'll get this:
